Do you know that your body is a temple for the Ruach HaKodesh? It houses the Ruach of Yahuah (Spirit of GOD) just like the Holy Temple and the Tabernacle that preceded the Temple. With this in mind we must think about how we treat our bodies that are a temple of the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit).
1Co 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of Yahuah (God), and that the Spirit of Yahuah (God) dwelleth in you?
1Co 3:17 If any man defile the temple of Yahuah (God), him shall Yahuah (God) destroy; for the temple of Yahuah (God) is holy, which temple ye are.
In the scriptures they were not allowed to put anything unclean in the temple. Everything had to be in order. This was so that the Ruach of Yahuah(Spirit of GOD) would rest inside. This is where the High Priest would meet with the Ruach of Yahuah (Spirit of God). Exo 25:22 And there I will meet with you, and I will commune with you from above the mercy seat, from between the two Keruviym(Cherubim) which are upon the Ark of the Testimony, את of all things which I will give you in commandment unto the children of Yashar’el.
This means that if we don't let ourselves be defiled and we walk according to Yahuah's(GOD's) order then the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) will dwell inside of us and give us instruction. The instructions of the Ruach HaKodesh(Holy Spirit) which is the spirit of Yahuah(GOD) are our source of true life. Without the indwelling of the Ruach HaKodesh(Holy Spirit) we would be physically alive but spiritually dead. The Ruach HaKodesh(Holy Spirit) is the one who protects us from the traps of the enemy. Without Him, we are vulnerable and likely to be destroyed. Just like when the Ark of the Covenant was taken from Israel and the philistines slaughtered them.1Sa 4:1 And the word of Samuel came to all Israel. Now Israel went out against the Philistines to battle, and pitched beside Ebenezer: and the Philistines pitched in Aphek.
1Sa 4:2 And the Philistines put themselves in array against Israel: and when they joined battle, Israel was smitten before the Philistines: and they slew of the army in the field about four thousand men. They were defeated because the presence of Yahuah was not with them.
Are you filled with the Ruach HaKodesh(Holy Spirit)? Have you excepted Yahusha HaMachiach(Jesus Christ) as the head of your life and as your redeemer?
