And Shemu'el said, Has Yahuah as great delight in ascending smoke offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of Yahuah? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Sometimes Yahuah gives us instructions. We set out to follow those instructions but we see something in the process that seems good. We then try to do both. We try to follow Yahuahs instructions while at the same time we try to do that thing that we think is good. That thing that we think is good might actually be good but it is just not good right now or it can be bad. When we try to do our own will when we are supposed to be doing Yahuahs will, we are making ourselves into an idol. We are putting another elohim before Yahuah. When we do this we are not loving Yahuah. The scriptures say "If ye love me, guard my commandments. YOCHANON 14:15-15 את CEPHER
When we obey Yahuah and die to our flesh then we are submitting ourselves as a living sacrifice kodesh and acceptable unto Yahuah. That is our reasonable service.
I BESEECH you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of Elohiym, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto Elohiym, which is your reasonable service. ROMAIYM 12:1-1 את CEPHER
To do justice and judgment is more acceptable to Yahuah than sacrifice. MISHLEI 21:3-3 את CEPHER
If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and woman, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my Talmiyd. And whosoever does not take up his cross, and come after me, cannot be my Talmiyd. LUQAS 14:26-27 את CEPHER
And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted. MATTITHYAHU 23:12-12 את CEPHER
We must trust Yahuah, follow his instructions and believe his Word. Redemption is nigh.
